6 Weeks To Go! Exciting Updates for Buderim9 Challenge 2023
The 2023 Buderim9 Challenge is just 6 weeks away and we've got some exciting updates to share with you!
New Event Date: Mark Your Calendar: 26 November 2023.
For 2023 our charity cycling event will roll on Sunday 26th November. This will avoid the busy Christmas period but still allow enough light for a 5.00am start and a 8.00am finish.

Entries Now Open!
You can enter the 2023 NOW. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this unforgettable cycling experience. Whether you're a seasoned rider or new to the sport, there's a category for everyone. Visit our website (https://www.buderim9.com.au/) to secure your spot today.
Enter before the 26th October to secure your ride jersey as part of your entry fee. Entries after the 26th October, won't get a jersey due to manufacturing timeframes.
Introducing the Corporate Teams Category.
We are excited to introduce a brand-new category this year - the Corporate Teams Category! Gather your colleagues and take on the challenge as a team. This category is perfect for team building, fostering a spirit of camaraderie, and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle in the workplace. Form your corporate team and compete for the coveted title of Corporate Teams Champion.
Here are a few key details:
  • Team Size: 4-6
  • The Winning team is decided by the total number of hills completed by all riders in the 3 hour time limit.
  • Male riders get 1 point per hill.
  • Female riders get 1.5 points per hill.
  • If 2 teams are tied on the day the Ride director will decide on a challenge to choose the winner
  • Prizes and Recognition for the Winning Corporate Team:
    1. The Buderim9 Corporate Challenge Trophy.
    2. A Function at the 10 toes Brewery for 12 staff
    3. A photo with Mat Hayman and the Paris Roubaix Trophy
    4. Something else?
Don't miss out on the chance to showcase your company's cycling prowess while empowering individuals and businesses to make a positive impact on society! The funds from your entry fees will go toward supporting the Pyjama Foundation (https://www.thepyjamafoundation.com/), an organization dedicated to helping children in foster care and our event's fundraising stays local here on the Sunshine Coast.
Your participation in the Buderim9 Challenge will make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children, providing them with hope, support, and opportunities for a brighter future.
